Sunglasses

Recently, The Trad discussed Vuarnet sunglasses in a post. He stated, in his Tradistic view, that these particular Vuarnets looked best on women. I must concur and as evidence offer this picture of my lovely wife sporting a pair of said Vuarnets.
This picture was taken in the base lodge at the Middlebury Snowbowl. We had taken the kids to Vermont over president's day weekend a few years back and after dealing with the crowds and lift-lines at Killington we elected to head over to Middlebury. This mountain is owned and operated by the College and is low-key and less crowded. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day at the Snowbowl and looking at this photo brings back great memories of skiing with the family.
Coincidentally, The Daily Prep did a post on sunglasses and I chimed in with my comment about quality sunglasses and the superior UV protection afforded by same.Turning from the clinical to the asthetic brought this photo to mind.

What a beauty! It may just be your lovely wife who makes the glasses look good :-) xoxo

What a lovely lady you have there - of course! I haven't thought of Vuarnet sunglasses in years, but it's true, they are stylish and great in protecting from the UV rays.

Beautiful wife!

Question: WHat has been your experience with buying vehicles on e-bay or online? I am thisclose to talking my wonderful husband into a woody Wagoneer I found in Georgia. What do you think?

Kathie, E-Bay is fairly reputable for vehicles. However, you need to get someone to check it out in person. There are consultants who will do that for a small fee. Check the feed back carefully on the seller. I have bought many things...including a boat, on E-Bay and never been burned. Further, there is usually a 3 day rule in most states that allows you to unwind the deal easliy if the vehicle is not as described or is a lemon. Also, Google the Wagoneer and you can find the outfits that totally re-hab them and sell them directly.

She looks great! I wish I still had my Vuarnets. They were so lightweight and comfortable. We too will be celebrating our 20th this year. Congratulations! Always love to see photos of your beautiful family.
