He headed Remington's operations in Europe in the early 60's and traveled all over the world competing and representing the company. Needless to say, he shot practically every weekend of his adult life. <br /><br />In those days, ear muffs was all they wore and by the time he was in his late 40s we could tell his hearing was slowly, but surely, going downhill.
